KQA School Quiz: 5 August 2007

Venue: Daly Memorial Hall, Nrupatunga Road

Event: High School Quizzes (General)

This is the second of three contests to determine high school team rankings in Bangalore. The team event will be followed by a Lone Wolf contest, open to individuals from the participating high schools.

Rules

  1. Open to students from Std. VIII-X
  2. Each school is allowed to field TWO teams of TWO members each
  3. Entry Fee: Rs. 100/- (will enable the school to field TWO teams and 4 participants in the Lone Wolf)

Schedule

Registration: 1000hrs

Prelims (Team) : 1015hrs

Prelims (Lone Wolf) : 1045hrs

Finals: 1130hrs

Prizes

Teams: Rs.1500/- , Rs. 1000/- and Rs. 500/-

Lone Cub: Rs.500/-, Rs. 300/- and Rs. 250/-

    Is it necessary for the lone wolf participants and the team quiz participants to be the same people? Like if AB and CD participate for the team quiz, can P,Q,R,S participate in the lone wolf quiz or should it be A,B,C,D only?

    How to reach the venue? Where is it located? Which part of Bangalore? Important landmarks

    Manoj:
    Sending people is left to the school: we’re okay with whatever permutation works for a particular school.

    Aditya:
    Best way to get there is to travel towards KR Circle from Vidhana Soudha. At KR Circle,turn left into Nrupatunga Road, Daly is the third/fourth building on the right, opposite to the Reserve Bank of India office.
