Askqance - The KQA Silver Jubilee Quiz Festival
The Karnataka Quiz Association celebrates the 25th anniversary of its founding this year. ASKQANCE 2008, our anniversary quiz festival will now feature nine quizzes to be held over two days.
This year’s ASKQANCE is supported by TVS Tyres who also celebrate their 25th anniversary.

Anand Memorial Quiz
The Anand Memorial Quiz will be held on Sunday, 26 August 2007,at the Daly Memorial Hall, Mythic Society Buildings, Nrupatunga Road, Bangalore.This is the last of three contests to determine high school team rankings in Bangalore.
Rules
1. Open to students from Std. VIII-X
2. Each school is allowed to field TWO teams of TWO members each.
3. Entry Fee: Rs. 50/- (will enable the school to field TWO teams)

This is the second of three contests to determine high school team rankings in Bangalore. The team event will be followed by a Lone Wolf contest, open to individuals from the participating high schools.

- Entry Fee: Rs. 100/- (will enable the school to field TWO teams and 4 participants in the Lone Wolf)

The KQA will organise a workshop in Quizzing and Information Culture in the fourth week of July. The finalists from Cognito, at ASKQANCE, will participate in this workshop.
Texas Instruments’ Jack Kilby Science & Technology Quiz
KQA has partnered with the Texas Instruments Foundation since 2003 in conducting the Jack Kilby Science & Technology quiz for students of Std. VIII,IX and X. The fifth edition of the quiz will be held in Bangalore, Chennai and New Delhi. Ochintya Sharma will ask the questions.
The dates:
Chennai: 26 October 2007
New Delhi: first week of November (exact date will be announced shortly)
Bangalore: 11 November 2007
The Chennai and Delhi winners will battle it out with the Bangalore winners on 11 November 2007.
