Mahaquizzer Middle East-Kuwait 2014 : Results
A special version of Mahaquizzer, KQA’s flagship solo quiz, was held in Kuwait for the second time with Mahaquizzer Middle East – Kuwait on 31st Jan 2014. It was a solo open general written quiz contest, for participants irrespective of age, nationality or affiliation. 193 participants took the quiz across many centres in Kuwait City.
The winner, with a score of 58 out of a total of 100 points, was Rahul Raja of Fahaheel Al Watanieh Indian (Pvt) School (DPS). Ramesh Athreya was second and Dilip Stephen was third.
Rohan Saji John of Carmel School scored the highest score of all middle school (upto 7th Std) participants, while Lovely Sasidharan scored the highest of all ladies.
Our congratulations to all the winners and especially to all participants who came in even larger numbers than last year.
A team from the Karnataka Quiz Association researched and set the quiz, which was organized by the NIT Calicut Alumni Association (NITCAA) Kuwait. The KQA thanks NITCAA Kuwait for the excellent organization and execution of the event and in their efforts in promoting quizzing in Kuwait.
