Oikoumene – A Quiz on Wildlife and the Environment
St. Joseph’s College will hold Oikoumene, a quiz on Wildlife and the Environment, on Saturday 15 December 2012, in partnership with KQA.
The quiz is being held to commemorate the life and work of Fr. Cecil Saldanha SJ, eminent botanist and author of an in-depth study of the Western Ghats that continues to be central to India’s biodiversity claims.
The quiz has three levels of competition: High School, College and Open.
The venue is Xavier Hall, PG Block, St. Joseph’s College, Langford Road, Bangalore 560027. (Opp. the main buildings on Langford Road, between Divyashree Chambers and Double Road)
RULES
- Teams of two members for school , college and open events.
- Entry Fee: Rs. 50 per team for school and college.
- Entry Fee Rs. 100/- per team for open.
- School=Std VIII, IX and X
- College=PUC/XI+XII/ Undergrad/Post Graduate
- Open: Any two individuals can team up.
- NO limit on the number of entries per institution
- No mixed teams for school/college
- Cap of two teams per institution in the school/college finals
