We will hold two quizzes on Sunday, 16 September 2007, at the Daly Memorial Hall, Mythic Society Buildings (Opposite RBI and Yavanika), Nrupatunga Road, Bangalore.
Crossovers
A quiz in the History of Ideas. Questions drawn from the journeys made by ideas across the sciences, history, philosophy, popular culture and the arts.
Prelims: 1530hrs
Finals: 1600hrs
5 Phases, 60 questions.
Entry Fee; Rs. 50/-
Open to teams of two members
Prizes: Rs. 1500/-, Rs. 1000/- and Rs. 750/-

KQA Solus Rex Prelims
A new format will be used for the Solus Rex championships starting this season. 12 contestants qualify. The qualifiers will then face each other in three ‘matches’–each involving four qualifiers. The winners of the three matches and the best runner-up will then meet in a not-entirely-grand finale. The matches will be held between September and November.

Open to all
Entry Fee: Rs. 50/-
Free entry for school students
50 questions to answer in 30 minutes.
The prelims will begin at 1430hrs and end at 1500hrs.
Prizes:
All qualifiers: Rs. 250/-
Match-winners: Rs. 500/-
Solus Rex: Rs. 1000/-

We will hold two quizzes on this date at the Daly Memorial Hall:
Solus Rex Match I
1415hrs to 1515hrs
50 questions on an assigned topic, followed by 20 general questions.
The KQA Ranking Open Quiz for September will also be held on this date. Gautam Shenoy will conduct.
