We will hold three quizzes on Sunday 9th May 2010 at the Arakere Hall, Institute of Agricultural Technologists, Queen’s Road, Bangalore.

EVENT I
Solus Rex Finals

Topics

1. Fictional Detectives
i.e. created in books. Those which started off in movies or comics not included.

2. Indian Scientists and Mathematicians
i.e. those of Indian origin. Foreign scientists who worked here or were born here are not included. Indians who were born abroad or worked abroad are included.

Best Questions

Members, with the exception of the finalists, are welcome to send in questions on these topics. While these will not be used in the finals, the quiz-masters will pick the five best questions from the entries received. Open to all individual contestants
Entry Fee: Rs. 25/-

Prelims: 1530hrs
Finals: 1630-1800hrs

The quiz will be anchored by an all-women team led by Urmila Lakshmanan.

Prizes: Rs. 500/-. Rs. 350/-, Rs. 250/- and prizes for all finalists.
