The Karnataka Quiz Association will be conducting two open quizzes on Sunday, 24th November at the Ujjivan head office in Koramangala. [map]

11:00 am – Catcher in the Eye – The Photography Quiz

Set by Tanmay Prusty, a written quiz on iconic (and not so iconic) candid moments, people, events and sundry from the world of photography. It is a written quiz for teams of up to two. Open to all.

 

2:30 pm – The November Open Quiz

The third monthly open general quiz of the season, this quiz will be helmed by Lokesh and Sreshth. It is a prelims/finals quiz for teams of up to four. Open to all.

Join us for edition 11 of Quiz Night at The Courtyard on November 13 (Wednesday) at 8:00 PM.

Manish, Rajat and Santosh return to conduct another season of the TV quiz – be content with Content with a quiz on all things television (note: no essay type questions on soldering capacitors to circuit boards or anything), whether Peak TV or pique TV. Come for the questions, stay for the recommendations.

A quiz for teams of two. The quiz is open to all. Prizes for top three finishers.

10 AM: MahaMahaquizzer – a showdown between the top 16 quizzers in India, as determined by Mahaquizzer 2018.

QMs: Movin Miranda, Nagaratna Patil, Navin Rajaram and Praveen VR.

230 PM: MegaWhats – a showndown between the top 16 quizzers quiz teams in India, as determined by MegaWhats 2019.

QMs: Preetham Upadhya, Prithwiraj Mukherjee, Rajagopal PS and Vivek Karthikeyan.

Audience is always welcome for MahaMahaquizzer and MegaWhats.

9 PM: The Sai-Tanic Verses (Quiz Night at the Courtyard)

Yes, AsKQAnce now has a nightlife! Come to the Courtyard in Shantinagar for a fun quiz at a great venue to wine and dine – it’s like dinner theatre, only a quiz.

230 PM: Gridlock – the Crossword Quiz

A take-to-lunch quiz that requires solving a printed grid containing approximately 30 clues. Most clues will have a predominant quizzing component and/or a cryptic clue. Winners determined on the number of correct answers. Ties, if any, will be broken by time taken.

An open quiz for teams of 2… well, the prizes are for two people, at any rate.

Join us for edition 5 of Quiz Night at The Courtyard (in association with the KQA) on May 8 (Wednesday) at 8 PM.

The theme this month is elections. Set and conducted by a coalition of political symbols that was the quiz team formerly known as Peter Panchali, the quiz – dubbed ‘Polliogare’ – will be a general-tinged quiz that covers a fare of elections, polls, surveys, choices and the like on all things political and non-political. Don’t worry, you don’t need to know who stood for what municipal bypoll in the year 1949.5.
