Solus Rex

Advance notice for Solus Rex, the KQA’s love-it-or-hate-it-but-you-can’t-ignore-it solo quiz that is back with QMs Arun Hiregange and Thejaswi Udupa, but in a new avatar!

Solus Rex is a quiz for solo participants that is open to all, and will ring out 2019 with a one day back-to-back-to-back extravaganza that starts at 2:00 PM on 21st December, 2019: 40q prelim, 40q semi-final for top 16 qualifiers, and 40q finals for the top 8 survivors.

But what is a Solus competition without devious (and sometimes head-scratching) topics? 50% of these questions shall be general in nature, but the remaining half shall be spread across the following four topics:

  1. Metaphors
  2. Indian Flora
  3. History through music
  4. Under the ground (literally anything under the ground – from graves to gold mines)

Venue: Institution of Agricultural Technologists, Queen’s Road, Bengaluru. [map]
